1940s Pine Cone Quilt

$450.00
sold out

Another favorite from this collection, this quilt has a larger hole in it and we decided to leave the mending preference up to the new owner as such a large patchwork piece would certainly alter the look and feel of this quilt and we thought it was important for its new home to dictate that.
We thought some feed sack would look cool personally… but you decide!
Nevertheless a stunning rendition of this pattern and otherwise flawless.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: machine pieced and hand quilted

Weight: light

Measurements laid flat: 64” x 81”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
An absolute striking beauty that just needs some attention to mend up the one larger hole that goes all the way through. A handful of faint spots of discoloration on the front and on the back with one longer spot along a crease due to previous storage of this piece.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
