This is a stunning matched pair of quilts circa 1930's. With solid green cotton borders and an array of beautiful feedsack fabrics making up the flowers.
There is quilting around and within the appliqué and in grid designs in the body of the quilt, all at 6-7 stitches to the inch with hand stitched binding.

Both of these quilts are in excellent overall condition, with only a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
