1900s Hearts & Gizzards Quilt

$990.00
sold out

This quilt was almost not listed… a hard one for us to let go of and an incredible example of stunning color and pattern precision.
Meticulously quilted, save for some fading, this quilt is flawless and sure to be the crown jewel of any collection it graces.
Made sometime in the 1900-1930s timeframe, this pattern is also known as Lovers Knot.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted and machine pieced

Weight: light

Measurements laid flat: 68” x 78”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
This quilt is almost flawless. One area on the front where the orange has faded due to previous storage, one or two small spots of discoloration, some spots on the white piecing where the fabric appears more cream and some very slight color bleed of the orange on the back that is almost imperceptible.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
