1890s Reproduction Ohio Star Quilt

$400.00
sold out

This quilt is made up of reproduction calicos that are so exact and beautiful it almost fooled us into thinking it was from the 1800s! Nevertheless a beautiful and very useable quilt that is in a rare larger size, which we are always doing our best to curate for those of you with larger beds!
A quilt that we believe is perfect for any season. The charming small shoofly stars pair beautifully with the striking forest green border. This is a variation of the ever popular Ohio Star quilt block, which has been around since the early 1800s. Due to the nature of the pattern using squares and triangles, it allows quilters to use lots of fabric scraps to create a stunning and unique block

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted and hand pieced

Weight: light

Measurements laid flat: 79” x 90”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
Only a few incredibly faint spots of discoloration. Flawless otherwise!

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
