Lavender & Onyx Overshot Coverlet

$378.00

This 19th century overshot coverlet is in a beautiful and not often seen color combination.
Woven in three panels and sewn together, it was often the practice for folks to take apart coverlets and sew them back together in a different orientation to distribute the wear over time. Upon doing so, patterns don’t always line up, such is the case with this one. Nevertheless beautiful in its color way and overall presentation.

The center panel measures 14" wide and the two outer panels measure 29 inches wide. The edges of the coverlet and where the panels are joined are all hand-stitched.

D E T A I L S

Measurements laid flat: 72” x 96”

Shown on a standard Queen size bed.

C O N D I T I O N

There are a few minimal spots. I found one very tiny area where the threads are a bit bare, but there are no holes or tears.

⋒  This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact me via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the  listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
