1890s Pyramids Quilt

I can never keep it a secret which my favorite quilt is from a collection and I fully confess— this 1890s pyramid patterned quilt is it.
Extra soft and well worn, the calicos that make up this quilt in such a pleasing assortment of colors are truly hard to beat.
Having a hard time letting this one go, but it deserves to live a life where it will be used and loved with frequency.

D E T A I L S

Machine stitched piecing and hand stitched quilting.

Measurements laid flat:
69” x 76”

C O N D I T I O N
A couple, very small discoloration spots on the back. The terra cotta printed calico is showing minor signs of wear as well as some of the patches here and there but overall is in great condition. Otherwise, no major flaws to note.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
