Late 1800s Grecian Star Quilt
⋒ This quilt, to the best of my identification, is actually a slight variation/combination of the patterns Grecian Star and Rose Album.
In a nice extra large size, which is often hard to find in older quilts, this would suit larger bed beautifully.
In absolutely gorgeous and useable condition. In a more recent decade, someone added the pink binding around the edge to preserve it.
Has a few spots of discoloration throughout as well as some wear to some patches and two small holes.
Only condition: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
Machine stitched piecing and incredibly intricate and beautiful hand stitched quilting.
Perfect to take with you on your next adventure or cozy up on a cold day at home.
