Japanese Sashiko Suitcase

A rare antique handmade Japanese piece with a gorgeous overall indigo gradiant and sashiko stitching. Would look gorgeous as a room divider, curtain, bedspread, or hung artfully on a wall.
Traditionally would have been used as a suitcase by putting all of the items in the center of the textile and then tying all four corners together.

C O N D I T I O N

A few small discoloration marks scattered throughout, small holes throughout, and more wear and larger holes to the white fabric lining.
