1950s Schoolhouse Quilt
This schoolhouse patterned quilt is such a fun one. I have two of these patterned quilts in my collection, they’re rare to come across.
Lots of lovely feed sack and cotton fabrics and a soft flannel backing.
Has the phrase “The wise man built his house upon the rock” embroidered onto one edge.

Beautifully machine pieced, and machine quilted.
A nice lighter weight quilt for the transition in seasons.
Measurements laid flat:
70” x 64”
C O N D I T I O N
Spot on the front but otherwise in lovely condition.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
