Georgian Quilted Petticoat
An incredibly rare piece that is without question an amazing collectors item. We have only seen a handful of these in our years of curating, and this one is in amazing condition for its age. A highly wearable piece, this would have traditionally been worn as an undergarment, but of course you can wear it however you like!
The entire skirt is hand quilted, which is truly amazing and while not unlike a lot of garments you come across from this era in regards to the time and attention to detail, is really an exceptional and really special detail. As is the hand crocheted trim!
The whole thing is truly a work of art.
