1930s Emerald Block Quilt

$425.00
sold out

A gorgeous Americana quilt if we ever saw one. With rich blue and red calicos and black quilting thread— our favorite feature though? The indigo dyed feed sack backing… We actually just may prefer this quilt displayed in the reverse because of it.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: Hand pieced and hand quilted

Weight: medium

Measurements laid flat: 69” x 66”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N

Small spots of discoloration throughout, one edge has been mended with feed sack cloth along with some additional mends on the back of the quilt, the occasional loose quilting threads throughout and one slightly irregular edge. Still has many years left to be used and enjoyed.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒  This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the  listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
