1890s Double Star Quilt
The neutral tone of this quilt is so calming and the array of beautiful calicos that make up the piecework are thoughtfully put together. A gorgeous quilt for any corner of your home and an extra soft one at that.

How it’s made: hand pieced and hand quilted
Weight: light to medium
Measurements laid flat: 60” x 74”
Shown on a standard Full size bed.
C O N D I T I O N
Fading throughout due to how it was previously stored. Exposed batting, mostly near edges especially the corners. We didn't find any holes or tears that go all the way through. A decent handful of small spots of discoloration on the back with some very faint larger spots of fabric aging.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
