1910 Eight Pointed Star Quilt

This 1910 eight pointed star patterned quilt is filled with an array of gorgeous blue calicos. Two grey-blue stars anchor the two bottom corners and it has some beautiful hand quilted floral designs as well.

C O N D I T I O N

In lovely condition for its age, it does have some discolorations here and there that may come out with further soaking and laying in the sunshine. A few tiny holes but otherwise in excellent useable condition.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
