1890s Shasta Daisy Quilt

$320.00
sold out

This 1890s shasta daisy patterned quilt has some incredibly rich cheddar pieces and other jewel toned cottons and calico prints that make this a stunning eye catcher despite its partial fading. The piecework alone is absolutely mesmerizing. A jewel for any collection.

D E T A I L S
Machine stitched piecing and hand stitched quilting.
A lovely lighter weight quilt for the transition in seasons.

Measurements laid flat:
84” x 83.5”

C O N D I T I O N
Fading throughout, but especially on one edge. Some of the printed brown calico fabric has natural signs of wear which can be expected for a piece of this age. Dye techniques are the main contributor to the wear on this quilt. The edging is sound and there are no tears or holes.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
