This is a wonderful antique European grain sack dating from the second half of the 19th century with unusual and rare printed stripes! This sack was hand woven and was once used for storing grains. The quality is AMAZING ~ all woven by hand.
A rare textile. Ideal for upholstery projects, pillows, a tablescape, or even a little half curtain.
Hand woven linen and cotton. This textile has a hand stitched seam that runs down the length.
These sacks often have a stamp so that the sack could be returned to the rightful owner after the grain was milled.
