Tramp art.
Finely executed form with elaborately notch-carved stacked designs with sawtooth edge profiles, the shaped back featuring a central reserve for a mirror flanked by fine snowflake-like designs above two glove boxes and a rectangular top over three full drawers each with two carved pulls, and diamond carved decorations, the whole flanked by carved ends with the same snowflake motif and raised on miniscule cut-out feet which issue from the stile. Late 19th/first quarter 20th century.
