1880s Red Framed Sampler

An incredibly lovely sampler. Such pieces are becoming harder and harder to find, but each is inherently one of a kind, telling of a life lived long ago.
Likely late 1800s, though without a date it is hard to pinpoint this one.

C O N D I T I O N

Frame has chips in paint along top edge and crack in paint along bottom edge.
