1950s Double Sided Denim Quilt

$858.00
sold out

This quilt was one from our personal collection that we truthfully have a hard time parting with. However, this one truly deserves to be showcased full time on a wall or used in daily backdrops vs. being folded on a shelf.
Truly a work of make-do folk art and taken in as a whole has a very calming effect with the gradient that the sea of blue fades (original to the jeans the quilt was made from).
The feedsack binding feels like an added bonus on this one.
Cherish this heirloom for the work of art it is!

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand tied, machine pieced

Weight: medium

Measurements laid flat: 60” x 70”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

C O N D I T I O N
A few small holes that do not penetrate all the way through. Minor stains and wear that are likely original to the jeans the quilt was made from, vs. wear to the quilt itself. Very sturdy and usable for any purpose over all.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
