1940s Pinwheel Quilt

$420.00
sold out

A truly unique rendition of a pinwheel quilt with a lovely soft pine green background that has aged beautifully from its original indigo dye. Another piece that we have never seen one quite like it and one that would make a wonderful addition to any quilt enthusiast’s collection.
Camp blanket batting.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: machine quilted, machine pieced and hand pieced in some areas

Weight: 56” x 76”

Measurements laid flat:

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
Original mends, fading to green and red feed sack piecework, a few slightly larger tears that expose some areas of interior batting fabric and a few small spots of discoloration.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
