1940s Lone Star Quilt

$950.00
sold out

This eight pointed Lone Star quilt is like one of those sunsets you see while driving out West. One so colorful and vibrant that you have to pull off on the side of the road to take in the true beauty of what you’re witnessing.

The maker of this quilt has pretty much mastered the ombre radiating effect as if the star was pulsating with a light of its own. A beautiful scalloped edge and incredible intricate quilting are other special features of this already showstopper of a quilt.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: machine pieced and hand quilted

Weight: light

Measurements laid flat: 82” x 82”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
Almost flawless save for some very slight fading, one or two very small spots of exposed batting, one small ink mark on the back and very slight wear to edge binding.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
