1940s Indigo Feed Sack Back Quilt

$350.00
sold out

We are sure this quilt has some stories to go along with it. It has aged beautifully into rich neutral tones and a unique indigo dyed feed sack back. In a decent larger size, this quilt would fit well on a queen size bed. The pattern of this quilt is intriguing and the size of the X’s vary between blocks adding to the character of this piece.
If it were up to us though, we’d display this quilt on its indigo side. Just look at that dreamy gradient…

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted and machine pieced

Weight: medium

Measurements laid flat: 74” x 85”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
Aging, discoloration and fading to fabrics throughout on front and back. Wear to edge binding. Exposed batting and seam separation in one or two places.

Most importantly
: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
