1940s Indigo Printed Feed Sack Quilt

$298.00
sold out

We are drawn to the weathered indigo feed sacks on the back of this quilt. Some of the writing and print from the feed sacks is still visible through the indigo dye.
It has aged beautifully from colors that range from deep lavender to stone washed lilac. The front of the quilt features charming pastel floral feed sack blocks and is astonishingly soft.

We would choose to display this quilt using the back as the prominent side.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted and machine pieced with one area that is hand tied

Weight: medium

Measurements laid flat: 58” x 74”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
Several holes that go all the way through as well as small spots of exposed batting throughout and small spots of discoloration. Fading and uneven color to fabric on the back of the quilt.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
