Made from clothing remnants, this quilt is a wonderful make-do piece and would look amazing hung on a wall.
Very similar to the works made by the quilters in Gees Bend.

How it’s made: Machine pieced and hand quilted
Weight: Heavy
Measurements laid flat: 80” × 53”

C O N D I T I O N
Overall spots of fading. Wear to several areas of binding, exposing the batting. Several pin holes across the front of the quilt, exposing the batting. A few seam separations across the front of the quilt. 3” tear across the back of the quilt that exposes the batting, overall fading across the back of the quilt as well.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
