1900s Childs Redwork Quilt

$248.00
sold out

Justin we found your quilt…
This playful rework quilt, a favorite fad from the early 1900s, has 30 beautiful blocks with floral motifs and letters spelling out JUSTIN.
There is a 1.25" inner red border, and a 1.5" outer white border. There is thin cotton batting and a white cotton backing. The edge is finished with a red cotton solid fabric binding.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: Hand pieced, hand embroidered and hand quilted.

Weight: Light

Measurements laid flat: 42” × 51”

C O N D I T I O N

In fair condition with fading, spots, missing embroidery stitches, a small hole by the red border, and overall edge wear.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
