1900s Blue Double Irish Chain Quilt
This blue beauty certainly is a stunner. We get asked most often for blue quilts and this is one of our favorites in this collection!
Super soft and cuddly, this one is very usable and would be perfect for a bed.
Our favorite detail is definitely the floral quilting in the center blocks — So perfect for spring!

How it’s made: Hand quilted

Measurements laid flat: 76” x 88”

C O N D I T I O N
This quilt is in lovely condition for its age. It does have some water mark discoloration from storage that isn’t extremely noticeable once on a bed as it’s at the edges, but even those will most likely come out with more soaking and a lay in the sunshine.
A few small pieces have seam separation and there are a few spots on the back, but otherwise in great condition.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
