1930s Make-Do Four Patch Quilt
This quilt is one of our favorites from this collection, and has an overall make-do, can-do spirit about it. With gathered pin tucks at the edges of some of the piecework to make the haphazard patchwork pieces fit together, this quilt has storied charm and would make a wonderful work of art hung in a hallway. With denim pieces showing original fades, this quilt has so many beautiful things to spot throughout.

C O N D I T I O N
Well-worn, with loss of binding at one corner and detachment between layers on a quarter of the quilt. Small holes and fabric loss throughout, with general discoloration to backing.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
