1930s Lone Star Quilt

$450.00
sold out

One of the most recognizable and sought after patterns, it is one of the hardest to make. Early quilters would refer to this pattern as the “mathematical star quilt” due to the intricate piecework.
A lovely subtle pastel color way that will bring a softness to the space you choose for it. The large 8 pointed star takes up the entirety of the quilt and is framed by a sea foam green edge binding and rounded corners.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted and machine pieced

Weight: light

Measurements laid flat: 84” x 84”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
In great useable condition. The colors and background are most likely a little more muted from their original form but still lovely. A small handful of faint discoloration spots, nothing terribly noticeable. No holes or tears that we could find.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
