1930s Ocean Waves Quilt

$310.00
sold out

Appropriately photographed near this patterns namesake, we found this quilt in California this summer. A timeless and calming color combination, a blue and white quilt can surely go in any corner of your home. Despite its wear this one is still useable and has plenty of life left to live and is a softer one than most. However it would also look stunning hung on a wall with its satisfying geometric symmetry.

Photographed on a secret beach in California

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted and machine pieced

Weight: light

Measurements laid flat: 66” x 74”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
A handful of small holes that go all the way through. Exposed batting and wear to piecing throughout. A few areas of missing piece work and seam separation. Wonderfully soft and worn in. Some faint spots of discoloration on the back and the white of this quilt isn’t as crisp as it was originally. Mend yourself or use as is for an adventure quilt or hang on your wall as a work of art.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
