1920s Letter "S" Quilt
A very rare, outstanding and unusual pattern, we personally have never come across another like this one.
A really captivating letter “S” quilt done in an unusual connected configuration that creates a meandering maze/ribbon/snail trail design.
There are arc designs hand quilted throughout at 5-6 stitches to the inch, the back is solid pink, the hand stitched binding is rolled over from the front, and the batting is thin.
The vibrant berry colors are nothing short of modern pop art when taken in together in tandem with this pattern!
A true collectors piece.

In mint, never washed condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
