1910s Four Patch Dreamsicle Border Quilt

A pale yellow cotton backing with a dreamsicle orange border and red and blue patchwork creates this beautiful quilt. Another one we have been hanging onto for some time because…. well… it’s just too good.

How it’s made: hand quilted and hand pieced

C O N D I T I O N
Fading around edges and a couple of small tears in the patchwork. A previous owner began stitching an extra piece of fabric to the back along one edge to hang this piece but did not finish their project. This is easily removable or could be finished if so desired.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
