1900s Blue Calico Double Irish Chain Quilt

$650.00
sold out

The Irish Chain quilt pattern is one of the oldest and most popular quilt patterns. This one in particular is a beautiful example of a double Irish Chain. This pattern can also be made as a single or triple Irish Chain for more variation and visual appeal.

This quilt features some of the sweetest and most charming blue calico fabric paired with a striking white background with intricate floral quilting. It is in wonderful condition and has many more years of life to live.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand pieced and hand quilted

Weight: light

Measurements laid flat: 71” x 81”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
Some slight fading to the blue calico and slight spots of discoloration on the white fabric. No holes, tears or exposed batting to note.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
