1890s Red Irish Chain Quilt
An intricately quilted and very soft beauty. With cotton seeds in the batting, an indication of an earlier quilt. Previous owners spent time to mend and prolong the life of this quilt and it was and still is very well loved. A nice, larger size.

C O N D I T I O N
A couple of small tears and wear throughout but still very usable and will last for many, many more moons. Some discoloration on the back and a few spots on the front as well.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
