1900s Homespun Ocean Waves Quilt
Truthfully, we were drawn to this quilt because of the back. Call us crazy, but that beautiful whole cloth indigo homespun on the back… we’d display it on that side too.
The calico in this one is lovely though, and it is over all a very thoughtfully and meticulously pieced quilt.

How it’s made: hand quilted, hand and machine pieced
Weight: medium heavy
Measurements laid flat: 67” x 79”

C O N D I T I O N
Fabric loss, batting loss, and discoloration spots scattered throughout. Several areas where quilting thread had come loose and discoloration along binding and edges. A great quilt for casual every day use! Take her camping!
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
