1900s Four Point Star Quilt
A sweet quilt from a collector in the Shenandoah Valley, lovely fabrics throughout and has a charming overall presentation. Despite its flaws, this quilt looks great displayed, or could be used for more everyday-utilitarian uses such as picnics in the park.
D E T A I L S
How it’s made: Hand pieced and hand quilted
Weight: Light
Measurements laid flat: 71” x 58”
Shown on a standard Full size bed.
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!
C O N D I T I O N
One side with raw edge and where a sheet was sewn to it with remnants of the sheet. Areas of exposed batting throughout. Overall discoloration and spots of fading. Overall very worn, but displays beautifully, or could be a great backdrop.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
