1900s Blue Checkerboard Quilt

$850.00
sold out

This quilt, aside from being in near mint condition, is incredibly soft.
The perceived yellowing of some of the neutral squares is actually a very faint almond colored calico which you can see more readily in some of the close up photos.
A really spectacular blue quilt if you’ve been looking for one! Would be perfect on your bed this fall.

Very sweet and even quilting at 6 stitches per inch.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: machine pieced and hand quilted

Weight: light to medium

Measurements laid flat: 65” x 81”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
Very slight uneven edges with only two or three very small spots of discoloration otherwise in pristine condition!

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
