1900s Amish Triple Irish Chain Quilt
A gorgeous Amish made quilt that the previous owner purchased in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in the 1980s and was made sometime in the early 1900s, or possibly late 1800s.
In beautiful lavender, terracotta, and pearl grey wools, with a chocolate sateen backing. The hand quilting is beautiful and meticulous, with feather motifs all around the border, and wreath and star quilting in the center.
We haven’t seen these colors before in an Amish quilt, and the overall look is a very stunning one.
A true collectors piece.
D E T A I L S
How it’s made: hand quilted, machine pieced
Weight: medium
Measurements laid flat: 78” x 78”
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

Overall beautiful condition, with only some minor small pin holes here and there in the piecework and some small discolorations throughout. Presents beautifully and is very sturdy and usable.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
