Made up of both cotton, wool and rayon fabric, this Amish Center Diamond quilt is a striking example of the pattern with its rich colors. This is one of the oldest Amish quilt patterns and is often accompanied with intricate quilting, as seen throughout this quilt. Also signed with a sweet cross stitch signature on one corner, a favorite detail to come across on any quilt!

Staining and discoloration throughout as well as some small possibly paint and bleach spots. Wear to edge binding fabric with small holes and fraying. Small holes here and there throughout. It appears the edge binding has been replaced at some point on three sides in a later deccade. Fading to corners on the back. Still very usable.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
