This box is a beautiful work of art
Rectangular sewing box with external textile panels on each side and a pincushion on top, the front panel is mounted with brass lettering with initials "KT" and a date of 1896 over a small central short drawer, the whole raised on stacked feet. Lined with red paper on the interior retains original crackled surface.

Spots were red velvet fabric is still visible on back of chest

C O N D I T I O N
In beautiful antique condition. Very sturdy and strong but has a few spots of discoloration. Some tears in fabric on-top of box. Red velvet fabric has worn away in most spots from age.
