1890s Double Irish Chain Quilt
Our favorite thing about this classic Double Irish Chain quilt is that it is crazy soft. You will want to curl up with it by the fire and never not have it around you.
Turkey red and sunflower yellow cotton set one another off nicely and make a subtle statement. The hand quilted floral details in between blocks is also another favorite detail of this very useable quilt.

C O N D I T I O N
Excellent over all condition, a few areas of small stains near edge that may come out with further spot treatment. A small mend at one corner is beautifully and thoughtfully done.
Fitted with a rod sleeve on the back for ease of hanging, which can easily be removed if so desired.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
