Made from beautiful vegetable dyed green cotton, which has mellowed with age, it lends to a neutral feel that could be placed anywhere in your home.
Charming saw tooth border, and stunning hand quilting throughout which includes chevron, braided, orange peel, and other designs at 7-8 stitches to the inch. Makers marks can still be seen in the quilting, a charming detail.
The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same solid green used in the interior.
A true collectors piece.

No wear, really beautiful overall, with subtle color mellowing in the unstable vegetable-dyed green.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
