1890s Flowering Snowball Quilt

This 1890s-1910 Flowering Snowball patterned quilt is a stunner. This exquisite array of calicos would brighten up any room in your home. This is a real good one friends.

D E T A I L S

Machine pieced and hand quilted with no batting. Intricate elbow utility quilting done by hand.
A lovely extra lightweight quilt, perfect for the transition of seasons.

85” x 73”

C O N D I T I O N
A small original mend on the edge with very slight discoloration on the lighter patches from the darker calicos bleeding from former improper washes and a very light and small discoloration spot on the back. Otherwise in extremely excellent condition.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
