1890's Lady of the Lakes Quilt
A remarkable quilt with exact piecework and execution, this Lady of The Lakes quilt is one of our favorites from this collection. Also known as a "corn & beans" pattern. The gorgeous diamond border, and quilting around each piecework at 5-6 stitches per inch, along with the red binding are also stunning.
There are also elements of "pinwheel," "hourglass," and "ocean waves" designs.
A true collector’s piece.

How it’s made: hand pieced hand quilted
Weight: medium, cotton batting
Measurements laid flat: 66” x 78”
If you’d like to hang your quilt, we recommend our locally made Folkling Quilt Clips!

Excellent condition, with some age spotting here and there and virtually no wear. A sturdy and usable beauty.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.
