1890s Fields & Furrows Log Cabin Quilt

$558.00

From York County Pennsylvania, this log cabin quilt in the Fields and Furrows iteration, is a beautiful version of this pattern. With varying shades of wool and gingham fabric and a whole cloth calico backing that maintains some of the original fabric label on the back! A fun detail. Especially in the black and white colorway, which is not often seen in quilts of this era.
Would be stunning hung on a wall.

In beautiful condition for its age, with only some minor loss at the edges in some of the wool piecework and small holes here and there in the body.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.
