A highly unusual and not often seen iteration of this pattern, this quilt is one we’ve had in our personal collection for many years due to its rarity. With homespun backing and elderberry cotton background surrounding beautifully pieced suns that have cheddar cotton details. A lovely textile work of art that makes quite the statement when hung on a wall.

C O N D I T I O N
Overall fading and discoloration. Several 2” seam separations in the piecework throughout. Several areas of faint discoloration across the back of the quilt, there has been some color transfer to the back in several areas. Several pinholes throughout, exposing the batting.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
