A beautiful late 19th century quilt with a rainbow variety of calicos and a gorgeous walnut whole cloth backing. The back is especially lovely as the dark brown cotton showcases the elbow fan hand quilting and adds rich texture and depth. It would be beautiful styled outward! A great collectors piece for everyday use.

C O N D I T I O N
Faint spots of discoloration throughout the quilt. Some minor fading that can be seen across the darker blue calicos. Seam separation in some of the tan pieces. Overall very sturdy and usable and presents beautifully!
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
