1880s Sunburst Star Quilt
This is one of our favorites from this collection. It has a magical allure to it. Beautifully pieced, and with marvelous hand quilted details in between the piecing and intricate quilting overall at about 28 stitches per square inch. It’s absolutely dazzling.

C O N D I T I O N
Slight fraying at binding, a few small spots of discoloration and one hand sized discoloration spot that we have not tried to spot treat, and may lighten or disappear if you choose to treat it.
Fitted with a rod sleeve on the back for ease of hanging, which can easily be removed if so desired.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
