1880s Eight Pointed Star Quilt
Yet another favorite from this collection — This quilt is quite striking. Even with the majority of it having faded, it could certainly stand out in a crowd. Despite its fading, we still think this beauty has life left to live and with the amount of cheddar in this one… oof. It’s still a killer.
We also love the gingham homespun backing. But then again, we are always a sucker for homespun anything…

C O N D I T I O N
Excellent condition with no tears or stains to note, however the majority of this quilt has faded due to improper display. A large area at one corner shows its true original saturation.
Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.
