1870s Country Cross Roads Quilt

$610.00
sold out

This quilt is actually a bit of a mystery to us. We can’t find a pattern like this, though the closest thing looks like a Steeple Chase Variant meets a Country Cross Roads block and since we feel at a cross roads with trying to figure it out… that’s what we’re calling this one.
It has gorgeous vegetable dyed fern green cotton paired with an off white and turkey red cotton. Very sweet original mends that are our favorite feature of this captivating quilt.
Definitely a favorite from this collection.

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand quilted and hand pieced

Weight: medium

Measurements laid flat: 72” x 82”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N

Original mends with one small hole and a few small spots of discoloration. Slight wear to edges.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project my friends. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒  This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the  listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
