1880s Touching Star Quilt

$820.00

This incredible quilt is from our personal collection. The colors of the acid green and cinnamon pink cottons= one of our favorite 1880s combos.
Overall one of our favorite patterns actually, and because of its captivating layout would look stunning hung on a wall with our Folkling Quilt Clips!

D E T A I L S

How it’s made: hand pieced and hand quilted

Weight: light

Measurements laid flat: 87” x 88”

Shown on a standard Full size bed.

C O N D I T I O N
In beautiful condition. Some slight fading throughout, colors aren’t quite as vibrant as they would have been originally. Similar with white background fabric, it is not as crisp white as it would have been originally. One or two very small holes where batting is exposed and one very small hole that goes all the way through. Slight wear to edge binding on all sides. Faint discoloration following folding crease lines due to previous storage methods. In overall very usable condition.

Most importantly: Please do not cut this quilt for a coat or other project. It is too beautiful and in gorgeous condition and a work of art in and of itself. It would be tragic to cut up such a beautiful piece of textile history.

⋒ This is an antique piece, all photos have been taken in natural light and with limited editing to reflect its condition. Please keep in mind all antique pieces have little imperfections and reflect the story and charm of the piece.

⋒ This find will ship to you within one week of purchasing. International and combined shipping is available, please contact us via instagram DM at @Folkling for a personalized shipping quote.

—☽☼— All sales are final —☼☽—

We want you to love your vintage finds, so please look through the photos and read the listing description carefully and feel free to ask any and all questions before purchasing, as we do not accept returns.

Thank you for understanding!
