Truthfully our favorite detail about this quilt is the incredible 1870s floral backing.
Though of course the expertly treadle pieced sixteen patch blocks on point are lovely as well! A variety of bright and gorgeous calicos set in a beautiful red background.
Both sides of this quilt being so lovely makes it feel like you’re getting two for the price of one!
There are straight line designs quilted throughout at 8 stitches to the inch with a hand stitched rolled binding.
